Jackson and His Friends

Over the past couple of weeks Jackson has gotten together with some friends that he doesn't see very often.

You'll notice that it's nearly impossible to get all of the kids to look at the camera at the same time!

Yay got one!

Holden and Jackson had lunch together at U.S. Pizza over Thanksgiving.

They both tried to order a beer, but were quickly denied after a check of their ID's.

This is what happens when your child doesn't take a nap all day at Mother's Day Out, gets home and is exhausted.....he literally fell asleep sitting up!

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's........

SUPERMAN!!!!

I had the best intentions of taking really cute pictures of Jackson in his Halloween costume, but these were the best I could get. They were actually taken before we left for Mother's Day Out, that's right, I made him wear his costume to school. So I'm psycho mom already...oh well.

My baby is 9 months old!! Can you believe it?!

Let's see how big he is and what he's been up to:

Weight: 20lbs 6oz (49th percentile)

Height: 32 in. (>97th percentile, off the chart)

1. You started crawling at 8 1/2 months and haven't stopped.

2. You have had your first 2 ear infections (back to back), which caused your sleeping at night to be completely thrown off, but we think we now have it figured out. (Thank you Zyrtec!)

3. You wear 9-12 & 12-18 month clothing.

4. You jabber all the time saying: ma-ma, da-da, ba-ba, ga-ga.

5. You wave bye-bye and have been clapping for a couple months now.

6. You are eating finger foods and you LOVE Cheerios....and so does Duke, because you would hate for him to starve so you kindly share with him.

7. You have two big teeth on top, with one on each side coming in , and two on the bottom.

8. You still like your pacifier and use it mostly and naps and nighttime.

9. You still aren't a napper, and probably never will be, but you take 1 morning and 1 afternoon nap that usually range from 30 minutes- 1hour.

10. You go to bed around 7:00 each night.

11. You started Mother's Day Out 2 days a week. and really seem to like it.

12. Finally, your newest trick "TOUCHDOWN." (see picture below)

First day of Mother's Day Out (and other pictures)

Jackson started his first week of Mother's Day Out, at our church St. Dunstan's, last week. He goes there Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30-2:30 and seems to have a really good time, plus Mom gets a nice break too :). The first couple of pictures are from his first day. He also "carries" his backpack that was a gift from his 2nd-cousin, Stephanie.

If you look closely, you will notice his GIANT top teeth!

Football Frenzy!! (and other random pictures...)

This weekend was a weekend of a couple of firsts: Jackson attended his first football game. On Friday night we went to the Jenks vs Union game and of course we had to find Jackson a Jenks shirt. So, on the way to the game we stopped off at Walgreen's and picked up this youth small t-shirt(that's the smallest they had.)It did the job and he looked really cute and Jenks won!

Unfortunately, another first this weekend was OSU's first loss of the season. I won't say much more about it, but Jackson was sporting his OSU jersey, (thank you Carissa!)

Again, he looked really cute, but not a great outcome.

Jackson and I both spend most of the first part of our day in our pj's. Here are a couple of pictures from one of our rainy days this week.

Jackson really likes to eat/play with veggie puffs, really I think Duke likes it the best because he ends up eating most of them, but one got stuck to his face and I thought it made a cute picture.
